Life is like a Merry - Go Round.  It has its' up times,
and its' down times.  It goes round and round.  But always,
somewhere, if you continue hope, there is a brass ring to grab~!

Love, hope and prayer are the only true ways to power each
of our carousels.  I wish lots of each of these for all of you.

Slow Dance

Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round,
or listened to rain slapping the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight,
or gazed at the sun into the fading night?

You'd better slow down,
don't dance so fast,
time is short, the music won't last.

Do you run through each day on the fly,
when you ask "How are"? do you hear the reply?
When the day is done, do you lie in your bed,
with the next hundred chores running through your head?

More and more, as years go by,
I count my richest treasures,
the friends who've come
and stayed awhile with me ...
Friends whose love and loyalty
no words can ever measure ~~
the ones who've walked
the extra mile with me.
For I have traveled many mile,
and been to many places,
and learned the worth
of all things real and true.
And most of all, I've learned the worth
of old, familiar faces ~~
